Te Hiiri marae is located in Halcombe, between Feilding and Marton. Its principal hapū are Ngāti Matakore and Ngāti Rangatahi of Ngāti Maniapoto, Ngāti Toa and Ngāti Raukawa.
The wharenui is name Te Hiiri o Mahuta; there is also a church on site, Hato Hohepa 1914. The marae connects ancestrally to the waka Tainui and the awa Rangitikei.
