Moerangi (Apumoana) marae is located in Rotorua. It's primary hapū are Ngāti Kahu (Kahu-poko) of Ngāti Whakaue, and Ngāti Tūmatawera and Ngāti Wahiao of Tūhourangi.
The main wharenui is called Apumoana o te Ao Kōhatu. The wharekai is Te Ao Wheoro. The marae connects ancestrally to Te Arawa waka, the roto Te Rotorua-nui-a-Kahumatamomoe and the maunga Tarawera.
