Waihou marae, in full Waihou-nui-a-rua and also known as Waimirirangi, is located in Waihou, about 4 km south of Panguru on West Coast Road in the northern Hokianga. It's iwi is Te Rarawa, and the hapū associated with the marae include Ngati Te Reinga, Ngāti Moroki, Parewhero, Te Uri o Te Aho and Te Wae Koi. 

The whare tūpuna is called Waimirirangi and the wharekai is Pare Puna o te Ora. Waihou marae connects ancestrally to the waka Mamari, Ngatokimatawhaorua and Tinana, the maunga Te Reinga and the moana Te Hokianga-nui-a-Kupe.
