Tuahuru marae is located in Māhia. Its principal hapū is Ngāi Tū of Rongomaiwahine.
The wharenui is called Hine te Rongo. The marae connects ancestrally to the waka Kurahaupō, the maunga Tairea and the awa Whangawehi.
