Tomotuki marae (also known as Parekaitini) is located 8 km west of Te Kūiti. The hapū associated with Tomotuki marae are Ngāti Apakura, Ngāti Parekaitini and Ngāti Rōrā and the tribal collective of Ngāti Maniapoto.

The wharenui is named Parekaitini and the wharekai is Te Whare o Te Ora. The marae connects ancestrally to the Tainui waka.
