Te Kurī a Tuatai marae (also known as Awapuni Pā) is located in Awapuni, Gisborne. It belongs to the hapū Ngāi Tāwhiri, Ruapani and Te Whānau a Iwi of the Rongowhakaata iwi.
The wharenui is called Whareroa. The marae connects ancestrally to the waka Horouta and Takitimu, the awa Waikanae and the maunga Titirangi.
