Te Kotahitanga marae is located just 1km south of Otorohanga, on Otewa Road. It belongs to the hapū Ngāti Urunumia of Ngāti Maniapoto iwi.
The whare is also named Te Kotahitanga. The wharekai is Te Rourouiti Haere. It connects to the maunga Rangitoto, Kakepuku and Pirongia, the awa waipa and the waka Tainui.
