Te Hora marae is located on Te Hora Pa Rd, on the outskirts of Canvastown, and 10 km east of Havelock. The marae belongs to the iwi Ngāti Kuia.
The whare tipuna is named Te Rupe o Ruapaka. The wharekai is named Kai au Wahine. The marae connects ancestrally to the waka Te Hoiere, the maunga Tutumapou, the awa Te Hoiere. The first Ngāti Kuia hui held at Te Hora marae was on 18 February 1990.
