Tane Hopuwai

Tane Hopuwai marae is located 7 km south of Te Kūiti, on State Highway 3. The principal hapū associated with the marae is Ngāti Apakura.

The marae connects ancestrally to the Tainui waka and the tribal collective of Ngāti Maniapoto.
