Tūkorehe marae is located in Ōhau, about 8 km southwest of Levin, on State Highway 1. Its hapū are Te Rangitāwhia, Te Mateawa, Ngāti Manu and Ngāti Kapumanawawhiti of the iwi Ngāti Tūkorehe.
The whare tupuna is also named Tūkorehe, and the wharekai is Ngaparetaihinu. The marae connects ancestrally to the waka Tainui, the maunga Tararua and the awa Ōhau.
