Raetihi marae is located just east of Raetihi township. Its principal hapū is Ngāti Uenukumanawawiri of Ngāti Uenuku and Ngāti Rangi iwi.
The wharenui is called Ko Te Whakaaro Tahi ki Te Whakapono. The marae connects ancestrally to the waka Aotea and the maunga Ruapehu.
