Moeraki marae is located in the coastal settlement of the same name, notable as the home of the Moeraki Boulders.
The wharenui is named Uenuku. Moeraki connects ancestrally to the moana Te Tai o Arai-te-uru, the awa Kakaunui, the roto Waimātaitai and the maunga Te Kohurau.
Moeraki marae belongs to the iwi te Rapuwai, Waitaha, Kāti Mamoe and Kāi Tahu.
