Manutahi marae (also known as Te Takere) is located in Manutahi. Its principal hapū is Ngāti Tākou of the iwi Te Pakakohi.
The whare are named Te Ao Tawhi (built in 1886) and Taumaha. The marae connects ancestrally to the waka Aotea and the maunga Taranaki.
