Mangaroa marae is located on Raukawa Road in Bridge Pā. Its principal hapū are Ngāti Pōporo and Ngāti Rahunga of Ngāti Kahungunu iwi.
The wharenui is called Hikawera II. The marae connects ancestrally to the waka Takitimu, the maunga Kahurānaki and the awa Ngaruroro
