Kaingahoa marae (also known as Mataraua), is located on Mataraua Road in Te Iringa, southwest of Kaikohe. The primary hapū is Ngāi Tawake ki te Waoku of Ngāpuhi.
The wharehui, Tumanako, was built over 100 years ago and the bell memorial on the site, was erected in memory of one of the builders of the whare Wiremu Te Korohu, and his wife Elizabeth Jane. Kaingahoa marae connects ancestrally to the waka Ngātokimatawhaorua.
