Kahukura Ariki

Kahukura Ariki marae is north of Kaeo along State Highway 10, at the upper reach of the Whangaroa Harbour. The wharenui is also named Kahukura Ariki. 

The marae affiliates to the iwi of Ngāti Kahu ki Whangaroa. The ancestral maunga is named Whakaangi and the moana is called Taemaro.
