Kāpehu marae is near the Northern Wairoa River boundary of Ngāti Whātua. It is located on Sills Road at Mititai, Arapohue.
The wharenui is named Tāringaroa. Kāpehu marae is linked to the maunga named Tokatoka and to the Northern Wairoa River. It can be accessed off State Highway 12 between Dargaville and Ruawai.
