Hinemihi marae is located in Ruataniwha Road, Wairoa. Its principal hapū is Ngāti Hinemihi of the iwi Ngāti Kahungunu ki Te Wairoa.
The wharenui is called Te Poho o Hinemihi. The marae connects ancestrally to the waka Takitimu and the awa Wairoa.
