Aramiro marae, also known as Te Kaharoa, is located 25 km southeast of Raglan in the Waitetuna Valley. Its hapū are Ngāti Ruateatea and Ngāti Tonganui, with hapū connections also to Ngāti Paratai of the iwi Ngāti Maahanga.
The whare tipuna is Te Kaharoa. The marae connects ancestrally to the Tainui waka, the maunga Pirongia.
