Whitiora

Whitiora (Te Tii) marae is located in the papakainga of Te Tii Mangonui, east of Waipapa. Along with neighbouring Huriharama marae, it affiliates to the iwi Ngāpuhi. 

The wharenui on Whitiora marae is named Te Rangatiratanga. Te Tii Mangonui is also the name of the surrounding moana, which forms part of the wider Te Puna outlet of the Bay of Islands.
