Waikeri marae is located just south of Ngaruawahia. It belongs to the hapū of Ngāti Reko of Waikato-Tainui iwi.

The wharenui is named Reko me ōna Rito, and the wharekai Te Ko o Mangaheko. The marae connects to the maunga Taupiri, the Waikato awa and the waka Tainui.
