Puketeraki marae is located in Karitane, just north of Dunedin. The marae's primary hapū is Kāti Huirapa ki Puketeraki of Ngāi Tahu.
The wharenui is named Huirapa. It was carved in 2007 by James York, Ross Hemera and Jenny Rendell. The wharekai is Maririhau. Huirapa connects ancestrally to the waka Takitimu and Araiteuru.
