Parihimanihi marae is located north of Gisborne. It belongs to the hapū Ngati Kōhuru and Ngāti Wāhia of Te Aitanga ā Māhaki.
The wharenui is called Te Poho o Mahaki, and the wharekai is Te Kura o Mahaki. The marae connects ancestrally to the waka Horouta, the awa Waihirere and the maunga Ahititi.
