O Te Ika Rama marae (also known as Hokonui) is located in Gore. O Te Ika Rama is connected to the Hokonui Rūnanga, and the iwi Waitaha and Ngāti Mamoe.
The wharenui is also named O Te Ika Rama. Tribal authority extends over and is derived from the maunga Ōparure, the awa Mataura, the moana Ara a Kiwa and the waka Tākitimu and Uruao.
