Kearoa marae is located at Horohoro just outside Rotorua. The iwi is Ngāti Kea Ngāti Tuarā.
The whare is also called Kearoa. The marae connects ancestrally to Te Arawa waka, the awa Pokaitu and the maunga Te Horohoroinga-o-ngā-ringaringa-o-Kahumatamomoe, or Horohoro as it is known colloquially.
