Ōhākī marae (Tahu Matua) is located on the banks of the Waikato river in Ohaaki/Reporoa. It is a geothermal kāinga for the iwi Ngāti Tahu-Ngāti Whaoa.
The wharenui is named Tahumatua. Ōhākī connects to the awa Waikato and the waka Te Arawa.
