Hinemihi marae (also known as Te Paparere-a-Rātōrua) is located in Ngāpuna, at the southern end of Lake Rotorua. It's primary hapū is Ngāti Hinemihi of the iwi Ngāti Tarawhai, with connections also to Tuhourangi.
The wharenui is also named Hinemihi, the wharekai is named Hinewai and the gateway is named Te Marumaru o Tuhoto. Hinemihi ancestrally connects to Te Arawa waka.
