Te Kotahitanga marae is on Rangihamama Road on the western outskirts of Kaikohe.
Its wharenui, also named Te Kotahitanga (literally ‘The Unity’) was established in 1883.
The marae links to the hapū of Ngāti Whakaeke within the Ngāpuhi confederation.
