Tōrere marae is located in Torere, about 21 km east of Ōpōtiki. It affiliates to the iwi Ngāitai.
The wharenui is called Torerenui a Rua. The marae connects ancestrally to the Tainui waka, the maunga Kapuarangi and the awa Wainui.
