Tarimano marae (short for Te Taringa a Mano) is located just outside Rotorua, in Awahou, just north of Ngongotahā. The primary iwi is Ngāti Rangiwewehi ki Uta.
The whare tupuna is called Tawakeheimoa. The marae connects ancestrally to Te Arawa waka, the roto Te Rotorua-nui-a-Kahumatamomoe, the awa Te Awahou (Te Wai Mimi o Pekehaua) and the maunga Tiheia.
