Motuti marae is located in the town of Kohukohu on Motuti Road. The hapū of the marae are Ngāti Te Maara, Te Kaitutae, Ngāī Tamatea, Te Waiariki and Ngāti Muri Kāhara of Te Rarawa.
The wharehui is Tamatea and the whare kai is named Kohinemataroa. Motuti Marae is located east of the Far North papakainga of Panguru off the Hokianga Harbour.
