Te Mohinui marae is located in Waiomio, south of Kawakawa on Waiomio Road, just off State Highway One. It's primary hapū is Ngāti Kahu o Torongare and the iwi Ngāti Hine.
The wharenui is called Mohinui and the marae connects to the waka Ngātokimatawhaorua.
