Hinemaurea ki Mangatuna marae is located in Mangatuna, north of Tolaga Bay, off Waiapu Road (State Highway 35). Its principal hapū is Ngāti Kahukuranui of the iwi Te Aitanga a Hauiti.
The wharenui is called Hinemaurea. The marae connects ancestrally to the waka Tereanini (with connections also to Horouta, Nukutaimemeha and Takitimu), the maunga Titirangi and the awa Uawa.
