Haiti-tai-marangai (Whatuwhiwhi) marae is located on the south coast of the Karikari peninsula at Whatuwhiwhi. Its hapu are Te Whānau Moana and Te Rorohuri of Ngati Kahu and Te Parata is a key ancestor.
The wharenui is also called Haiti-tai-marangai. Whatuwhiwhi marae connects to the maunga Pūwheke and to the moana of Karikari.
