Ngāti Moki marae is located south of Christchurch on the shores of Lake Ellesmere (Waihora). It belongs to Ngāti Moki of Ngāi Tahu.
The whare tūpuna is also named Ngāti Moki and was opened on 7 May 1891. The wharekai is named Riki Te Mairaki Ellison after a noted kaumatua. The marae connects ancestrally to the waka Takitimu, the moana Te Kete Ika a Rakaihautū, the awa Ōrakaia and the maunga Aoraki and Ngā Tiritiri o Te Moana.
