Mōrehu

Morehu marae is one of three marae settlements belonging to the hapū of Te Uri o Tai and Ngāti Whero of Te Rarawa and Te Aupouri in the Pawarenga region. It is situated within the Potikari papakainga, and was established by the ancestral leader, Tarapatiki. 

Morehu marae was extensively renovated in the mid-1980s, including the building of the new wharenui (Kurahaupo) and new wharekai (Waimionga).
