Kākahi

Kākahi marae is located approximately 20 km east of Taumarunui on Ako Street, Kākahi. Its principal hapū is Ngāti Manunui of Ngāti Tūwharetoa iwi.

The whare tupuna is called Taumaihiorongo. The marae connects ancestrally to Te Arawa waka, the maunga Tongariro and the roto Taupo.
