Kaipō (Wharetapapa)

Kaipō marae (also known as Wharetapapa) is located in Waitōtara, on State Highway 3. Its principal hapū is Ngāti Hou Tipua of the iwi Ngā Rauru.

The wharenui is named Tokanuhea III. The marae connects ancestrally to the waka Aotea and the maunga Taranaki
