Ngāi Tūmapuhia-a-Rangi ki Okautete

Ngāi Tūmapuhia-a-Rangi ki Okautete marae is located in Okautete, Homewood, about 65 km southeast of Masterton. Its primary hapū is Ngāi Tūmapuhiārangi of Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairarapa iwi.

The marae connects to the maunga Te Maipi, the awa Kaihoata, and the waka Takitimu. The marae Reservation was first established in 1890 by Tumapuhia manawahine Maraea Iraia aka Ngapine. A new marae and whare are currently under construction.
