Tumutumu (Tui Pā)

Tumutumu marae, also known as Tui Pā, is located about 3 km north-west of Te Aroha. The whare is named Tamaariki, and the marae ancestrally links to the tribal collective of Ngāti Rāhiri Tumutumu. 

The marae complex featured in the TV show Marae DIY in 2009, where a team completed repairs to damage incurred from the elements over time.
